Production Supervisor - Coricraft - Epping Factory at TFG (The Foschini Group)

Responsibilities

• Managing, Leading and Controlling: Oversee daily production operations, lead the production team, and ensure effective control of resources to meet operational objectives
• Production and Quality Standards: Ensure all products are manufactured in line with company quality standards and production targets, and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Training: Identify training needs, facilitate on-the-job training, and support the development of team members to enhance skills and productivity
• Performance Management: Monitor employee performance, provide feedback, address disciplinary matters where necessary, and drive a high-performance culture
• Reporting: Maintain accurate production records and compile regular reports on output, efficiency, and quality metrics for management review
• Teamwork and Self-Management: Foster a collaborative team environment while demonstrating accountability, initiative, and effective self-management in achieving departmental goals

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment
• Relevant qualification in Production Management, Manufacturing, or a related field
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
