    Professional Support Lawyer (Durban, Johannesburg, Cape Town)

    About the Role

    As a Digital Content Editor, you will be working to establish strategic processes for content conversion, publishing, and maintenance. Your expertise will help you lead on implementing improvements to editorial and reporting functionality and processes. You will also work on and lead the editorial implementation of large-scale content projects.

    Responsibilities

    • Acquiring a firm understanding of editorial processes and style guidelines
    • Editing and proofreading content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency across various digital platforms.
    • Monitoring industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance digital content performance and relevance.
    • Conducting regular content audits and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization of content.
    • Editing and proofreading content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency across various digital platforms. Monitoring and responding to user engagement and feedback to enhance the overall digital content experience.

    Requirements

    • Be able to adapt quickly to new technologies and tools for content creation and distribution.
    • Be able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
    • Demonstrate exceptional editorial judgment and excellent writing and editing skills.
    • Have a bachelor's degree in law or equivalent work experience.
    • Be a clear strategic thinker combined with a practical approach and close attention to detail.
    • Have experience drafting or editing legal memos, client materials, law journals or newsletter articles.
