Under the supervision of the Senior Program Officer, MSMEs, the Program Support Officer will be responsible for managing day-to-day project activities related to the selection and support of MSMEs within the 100,000 MSMEs Initiative and related projects. This role includes planning, procurement, travel coordination, meeting organization, data collection, and analysis to ensure the effective and efficient implementation of the project in alignment with African Union procurement methods and standards.

Solid knowledge and expertise in procurement cycle management in public institutions.

Experience working with AU or other international development organizations would be an advantage.
Education and Experience
A Bachelors’ degree in Business Management, Economics, Project Management, Procurement, Computer Science or related fields with a minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience with relevant procurement support team within a project, and with experience in evaluation and/or assessment of submissions and projects, within the public sector, multilateral institutions, and international non-governmental or similar organizations regionally and/or internationally.
