Job Description

The Project/ Construction Foreman will be responsible for the effective management of internal projects at VKB's silos, ensuring compliance to standards and procedures.

Requirements

• Grade 12/ NQF4
• 5 years experience in Health and Safety, preferably in the construction environment
• Diploma in Project management will serve as recommendation
• Previous experience in construction is essential

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage external contractors and internal projects
• Ensure Legal compliance to Construction Regulations: External Contractors
• Continuously audit project's legal compliance to the Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Annual maintenance on VKB's buildings
• Draw up and maintain Preventative Maintenance schedules for VKBs buildings
• Annual building maintenance budget compilation and management
• Develop new policies related to the Engineering department
• Maintain policies and procedures
• Management of the divisions equipment within budget and mandate
• Completion of capital projects within set timeframes
