Job Description
Your role will manage the Project Management Office (PMO) to successfully deliver Stay-in-Business (SIB) Capital and Working Cost projects year-on-year. responsible for all project functions and activities associated with safety, management, resourcing, risk management, reporting and control for the Venetia Mine project portfolio in accordance.
You will be responsible for:
Managing and coordinating the activities of project team members and other service providing contractors/companies.
Providing specialist knowledge and guidance to all levels of management.
Engaging with departmental heads developing and maintaining an accurate 5-year Stay-in-Business (SIB) Capital project forecast.
Supplying project time and cost assessments.
Establishing and manage processes for the provision of project services.
Supervising and guiding Project Managers / Project Engineers.
Identifying risks to the Project Portfolio and implement appropriate risk mitigation controls.
Overseeing the working cost budget of the Project section.
Analysing project delivery trends and implement actions.
Qualifications
Formal qualifications:
Grade 12/Std 10 certificate or relevant NQF level 4 qualifications
A relevant 4-year B-Degree in an Engineering Field, NQF Level 7 is a necessity
A formal qualification in Project Management
Additional requirements:
Professionally Registration with ECSA as advantageous
Valid EB/Code 08 driver’s license.
Successfully obtain a Red Ticket (Medical Fitness Certificate) and Security clearance on mine.
Your consideration for employment is subject to your SAPS Criminal Record verification and qualifications verification.
Role-specific knowledge:
8 - 10 years post qualification experience and execution of multidisciplinary projects, and/or overseeing multi-disciplinary project teams and relevant personnel.
