We are looking for a hands-on delivery professional with proven experience managing card and payments-related projects within a banking or financial services environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable driving projects from initiation through to implementation while engaging effectively with business, technology and vendor stakeholders.
Key Experience Required:
5+ years' Project Management experience
Banking or financial services experience
Card payments, merchant acquiring, payment acceptance or contactless payments experience
Experience delivering technology and business change initiatives
Strong stakeholder, risk and dependency management skills
Experience working in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments
Responsibilities:
Manage projects and initiatives from initiation through execution and close-out.
Engage with business stakeholders, delivery teams and project sponsors throughout the project lifecycle.
Assist with defining project objectives, delivery approaches and success measures.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, timelines and dependency trackers.
Coordinate activities across business and technology teams to support successful project delivery.
Monitor and manage project risks, issues and dependencies, escalating where required.
Track project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
Facilitate project meetings, workshops and governance forums.
Support budget tracking, resource planning and delivery reporting.
Ensure project documentation, handover activities and lessons learned are completed at project closure.
