The overarching purpose of this role is to ensure the flawless execution of Private Label new product innovation projects through project management excellence. Core to this role is the: on time - on quality - on budget innovative product delivery through agile cross-functional project management and partnering excellence. Whilst driving innovative new product development, the role simultaneously absorbs specialised support activities such as identifying new product opportunities through leveraging a deep understanding of customer needs and lifestyle, category and retail trends, researching the commercial viability of products and/or activities and providing insights pertaining to roadmap prioritisation to ensure the right innovation portfolio choices to ensure the delivery of cutting edge innovation and profitable sales growth. The role has great scope for growth within this newly formed team with unique exposures in shaping the Private Label new product development stage-gate process.
A BSc Food Science, Consumer Science and/or other relevant Nutritional Sciences and Dietetics related or equivalent degree is an essential requirement. Along with a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar NPD Project Management role in a New Product Development or related FMCG environment.
