Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma or similar qualification in engineering, commerce or building environment
Computer literacy (MS Office) – Advanced Excel and Projects
Computer literacy other – Primavera essential
Knowledge of ERP systems – Sage, JDE, SAP or similar
Knowledge of contract schedules and programmes, administration processes and procedures
Additional Certification is advantageous
Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
3-5 years’ experience as a Project Planner in mining or infrastructure projects
Planning, scheduling, resourcing of schedules and detailed subordinate schedules
Maintaining and updating schedules with actual progress and preparing reports
Schedule updates, forecasts, scenarios, and analysis
Knowledge of engineering projects, project life cycle and requirements
Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
Previous experience with InEight
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop master schedules, histograms, progress curves, resource requirements for underground mining and construction projects and all related activities to meet project objectives
Track work progress, activity, and cycle durations, prepare forecasts and deviation analysis
Support Project Managers with accurate and up to date reports, forecasts, and recommendations to achieve project objectives
Monitor compliance with issued schedules, identify risks and prepare impact assessments
Identify changes to scope of work, contract baseline, assist with impact analysis and prepare variation submissions
Prepare and review schedule related input to contract variation processes
