    Provincial Director - Mpumalanga

    Job Description
    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Leading, managing and integrating the Provincial Finance, Support Services, Campaign, and Communications teams to ensure that all systems designed are aimed at maximising the Party’s votes in Mpumalanga
    • Being the interface between the administration and political and campaign structures in the province
    • Providing leadership and direction to all provincial staff

    Job Requirements
    Minimum requirements:

    • National Senior Certificate or equivalent
    • Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous
    • 3 years’ experience in a management role
    • 5 years’ experience in the field of finances and support services
    • Experience in human resources management, including performance management, and recruitment & selection
    • Information system and technology skills at intermediate level
    • Valid driver’s licence with access to a vehicle for daily business related use
    • Computer literacy, particularly MS Office Suite

    • Administration and attention to detail

    Abilities:

    • Recognise and implement improvements to systems
    • Prepare professionally written communication
    • Use initiative and work well in high-pressure situations

    • Apply sound political judgment and the ability to identify key issues relevant to communities

    Knowledge and Commitment:

    • South African political landscape
    • Local, provincial and national political and legislative framework and dynamics
    • Liberal philosophy
    • Party policies and Constitution
    • Commitment to the principles, policies and programme of action of the Democratic Alliance
    • Willingness to go the extra mile, which may include working long and irregular hours, weekends, and public holidays where necessary
