Psychologist at The South African College of Applied Psychology (SACAP)

Job Description

SACAP is looking for a psychologist who is responsible for providing mental health services and support to students at SACAP.

The psychologist will provide a full range of counselling and support and development services to promote student wellbeing and strengthen student success.

The role reports directly to the Student Wellness Manager and Center.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• At least three years’ experience in Higher Education
• Master's degree in counselling/ clinical psychology
• Registration with the HPCSA as a Counselling Psychologist /Clinical Psychologist

• Computer literate
• Time management
• Organised/ Structured
• Methodical
• Highly developed relationship building skills
• Sound understanding of professional and ethical principles and relevant legislation
