QA Pharmacist Assistant at Vital Health Foods

Description

• To assist the Q/A Department with tasks required to maintain an efficient and highly functional QMS, by compiling
• annual product quality reviews, driving the supplier approval program, taking part in internal and external audits and
• assisting with customer complaints and batch release when required.

Responsibilities: 

• QA 28 - Maintain supplier documentation required for the supplier approval and monitoring program
• Co- ordinate the QA-28 risk assessment for all raw materials and packaging materials used on site
• Product quality review
• Report on PQR status on a monthly basis
• Act as a member of the internal audit team and conduct internal self-inspections as per SOP
• When required by QA Manager assist with external audits and reporting 
• Responsible for compiling reports to be sent to customers 
• Administrative support in the department
• Responsible for trending all complaints
• Responsible for the logging and investigation of all complaints
• Assist with the batch release of products as per SOP when required.

Requirements

• Pharmacy Technician or Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant qualification
• 2 years’ QA/QC experience in a pharmaceutical environment
• Knowledge of Food Safety/ HACCP and GMP report writing
• QMS experience would beneficial
• Previous supplier and/or internal GMP audit experience is desired
• Familiarity with annual product review & Batch Release experience would be advantageous
• Excellent communication, planning, and time management skills
• Good analytical, attention to detail & problem-solving skills
