As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the Quality Assurance department and to ensure consistent product quality that is ‘fit for purpose’ and will satisfy customer needs, remaining cost effective and in compliance with legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, develop and Implement the Company Quality Strategy
Manage QA team including technologists
Alignment of company quality standards with legislative requirements and to manage risks
Relationship Management with internal and external stakeholders
Leadership
Management of redundant or damaged stock
Proposed new developments and changes to business process and technology
Requirements
Relevant Tertiary qualification is preferable eg. Degree/Diploma in Business Management
Tertiary qualification in textile testing and or clothing manufacturing with quality assurance / textile technology as subject will be an advantage
5 to 8 years leadership experience in a quality assurance environment
Retail experience is essential
Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of achieving results.
Good administrative and computer skills (MS Office/Google Suite)

Building and maintaining good relationships – internal and external to PEP
Knowledge of provincial legislation with regards to safe disposal of stock
Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Act
