Purpose of the Job
To design, implement, and maintain profitable business models for the divisional bakeries and delis while adhering to all policies and procedures. The job objectives entails:

Job Objectives

• To design a profitable business model and ensure implementation
• To ensure national bakery policy and procedures are implemented and adhered to
• To ensure implementation of and adherence to the Food safety and Hygiene procedures and policies 
• To quality assess and control convenience foods suppliers 
• To liaise with training schools 
• To provide exception input regarding maintenance of Bakery equipment
• To provide input and suggestions regarding bakery lay-out and equipment

Qualifications

• Tertiary education in business management is essential
• Fresh foods qualification is desirable

Experience

• Management experience is essential. 
• Fresh foods management experience is desirable
• Manufacturing experience is desirable
• Cost accounting experience is desirable. 

Knowledge and Skills

• Knowledge of business management principles is essential. 
• Knowledge of financial management principles is essential
• Strong cost accounting and management skills is preferred.
