    Regional Marketing Manager (PG11/12): SanlamConnect: Gauteng South Region (Constantia Kloof) Rerun

    What will you do?

    • This is a specialist role within SanlamConnect Gauteng South Region. RMM's form part of the regional management team.   Managing a marketing budget, the RMM's will be responsible to undertake market research of trends and opportunities, develop regional marketing plans/activities and then co-ordinate their execution in conjunction with the regional management teams and be responsible to manage staff. The RMM will also be responsible to manage the Key Account Specialists.
    • The RMM's will furthermore influence and build close working relationships with the different product provider specialists operating in the region to ensure all the interactions with brokers are co-ordinated and aligned to the strategy of the region. The RMM's will promote the Sanlam brand with intermediaries. RMM's will also support Broker Consultants and Sales Consultants in their marketing initiatives/campaigns with intermediaries.
    • Undertake market research and intelligence gathering 
    • Develop and implement marketing plans and tactics in the region 
    • Managing marketing budget and expenses 
    • Focus and regulate the direct access and exposure of product provider resources to intermediaries
    • Market the Sanlam brand and arrange intermediary engagement session 
    • People Management

    Qualification and Experience:

    • Grade 12
    • A marketing or business qualification
    • Preferably CFP
    • Financial Services experience 
    • Sales and marketing background in distribution 
    • Managerial experience

    Knowledge and Skills:

    IT:

    • MS:  Office (Excel, Word, PP)
    • Lotus Notes
    • Broker Tools (i.e.: compliance tools,SanPort)
    • Internal systems (SAP4Hana)

    Business:

    • Financial Services Industry Knowledge (Broker Distribution; SFA; SKS)
    • Financial Services Product Knowledge (Sanlam and competitors)
    • Relevant regulatory legislation and compliance knowledge (i.e.: C.O.I)
    • Expense Management
    • Sound legal technical knowledge (relating to products)
    • Project Management
    • Formulating and execution of marketing strategy
    • Market segmentation and analysis
    • Market campaigns and events
