To lead, support, coach and develop a team of field sales persons, ensuring that the required new business targets are met as a result of them gaining profitable new clients
Identify new business opportunities and market trends
Provide Quality leads to sales persons
To hold prospecting blitz’s and run various campaigns to accelerate the process of gaining new business
To assist and support the sales team in preparing and delivering proposals, tenders and presentations to potential clients that are of a high standard
Ensure required monthly and accumulative targets are met
To compile and oversee the completion of required weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting
To ensure the adherence by sales persons and the team at large with established policies and procedures
To build and foster good relations with various other internal and external stakeholders
Duties and Responsibilities
Attain new business in the Western Cape area
Service and maintain existing clients in Western Cape
Target/Budget achievement
Salesforce system managementMaintenance and driving of activity levels
Ensure clients are kept up to speed with industry developments
Contribute towards company growth as well as personal growth
Interact and develop the team spirit
Maintain high levels of energy and built a motivational mindset
Building of industry and product knowledge in order to benefit clients and organization
Minimum Requirements
Matric essential
Previous experience in management roles within the Freight Forwarding/Logistics Industry
Ability to travel within SA and Internationally when required
Valid drivers license and own vehicle

PSS course qualification
Business Management / Logistics Bachelor’s Degree
Exposure to SCOR
Must have a high level of selling and public relations skills
Must be able to build and maintain strong relationships with customers
Must have the ability to sell on a strategic, tactical and operational level
