We are looking for Registered or Professional Nurses with hospital experience, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for delivering quality patient care. The Registered Nurse is a role model in the delivery of evidence-based care. The registered Nurse will actively participate in Clinical Governance. The team member will be responsible for direct and/or indirect nursing care of a patient or group of patients, further ensuring the best patient outcomes within a multi-disciplinary team, taking responsibility for the Enrolled Nurse as well as the Enrolled Nurse Assistant team.

Further Role Breakdown :

• Knowledge and understanding of the principles of sterilization, disinfection, and aseptic and sterile technique.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient safety.
• Extensive knowledge of modern nursing care principles and practices in this highly specialized field.
• Knowledge of Infection Control & Prevention.
• An understanding of surgical procedures and being able to anticipate the needs of a multi-disciplinary team
• Advanced clinical documentation skills

Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification.
• Enrolled Nurse qualification.
• Current registration with South African Nursing Council (SANC).
• Experience as an Enrolled Nurse
