Research Analyst at Cenfri

We are looking for highly driven and endlessly curious graduates to join our fast-growing team as research analysts. Joining Cenfri will allow you the opportunity to explore new horizons in respect of economic research – in all areas of economic inclusion, including doing exciting applied analysis, engaging with key stakeholders and being part of a process to achieve real-world impact and to improve the lives of low-income households on a broad scale across Africa and the developing world.

Requirements

• Masters-level qualification in economics or a related field
• A strong interest in research-related activities and a passion for development
• Good quantitative and analytical skills
• Advanced English language skills (verbal and written)
• French speaking (highly advantageous)
• Good writing and presentation skills
• Exposure to behavioural economics, development economics or international development (advantageous)
• Exposure to Data Science (highly advantageous)
• Knowledge of Stata and the analysis of household survey data (advantageous)
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness and ability to travel within South Africa and abroad
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
