    Research Project Assistant FALF-FREF 2-Year Contract (9K50)

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Research assistance and management support service to the operations in the FALF-FREF-NMU Research Chair on Entrepreneurship and Financial inclusion.
    • Reporting on commercialisation of research and innovation projects.
    • Grant management in all Entrepreneurship and Finance programmes.
    • Postgraduate support in all Entrepreneurship and Finance programmes including Master and Doctoral students’ support.
    • Liaison support with diverse agencies, bodies, and councils in the Entrepreneurship and Finance sectors.
    • Maintenance of a manual and electronic record system for all Entrepreneurship and Finance programmes.

    REQUIREMENTS

    To be considered for this position the candidate or applicant should have complied with ALL the following requirements:

    • Female candidate with a postgraduate qualification at NQF Level 9 (master’s degree)
    • Entrepreneurship, commercialisation and research publication skills
    • Registered/ ability to register for a doctoral degree
    • Organisational skills, communication skills and report writing, computer skills (Ms Office, Internet Search Engines, and ITS), interpersonal skills
    • A sound understanding of the higher education sector environment, systems, and administrative processes and procedures.
