Rigger at Phakisa Group

• We are looking for a skilled Rigger with 3-5 years of underground mining experience for a Contractor position in JHB - Central.

Minimum Requirements:

• Recognised Rigger Trade Certificate
• Valid Red Ticket / Medical Fitness Certificate
• Minimum 3-5 years underground mining experience
• Experience with lifting equipment, chain blocks, and rigging practices
• Knowledge of underground lifting and safety procedures

Mandatory Certifications:

• Valid Working at Heights Certificate
• Confined Space Certificate
• Power Tools Training Certificate

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform rigging and lifting operations underground
• Inspect and maintain lifting equipment
• Ensure safe movement and positioning of heavy equipment
• Conduct pre-use inspections of rigging gear
• Assist with installations and shutdown activities
• Ensure compliance with mine safety standards
