Risk Consultant

AFA is looking for Risk Consultants to work on a project based in KwaZulu-Natal starting mid- March 2020 for a maximum period of 3 months.

Responsibilities:
- Year-end review across Revenue, Payments, Procurement, and Capital Projects to ensure identification and completeness of PFMA reporting
- Preparation of Regional PFMA report highlighting PFMA violation identified
- Execute review procedures as per project programme and document results of testing in working papers
- Prepare review findings, which must be supported by relevant evidence
- Discuss review findings with client and obtain root causes and draft management comments
- Clear all review queries
- Prepare progress report and discuss project report with project manager
- Attend meetings where required
- Prepare audit file and sign off on audit file
Experienced requirements:
- BCom (Hons) degree in Internal Auditing, Accounting or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years' experience in auditing and/or PFMA compliance experience
Other:
- Candidates may be required to travel out of town (costs will not be for the candidates account)
- Must be available to start work on the project within 1 week notice
