    Sales Account Representative, Uber Direct SA

    About The Role

    Uber Direct is a last mile delivery solution aimed at providing partners with the opportunity to optimise their delivery experience. The Account Representative role is a great opportunity for candidates to demonstrate their sales skills and abilities, in order to expand the network of Uber Direct partnerships!

    Who are we looking for? Someone who is natural at selling and knows where the best opportunities for last mile delivery are, passionate about Uber, and enjoys negotiating to building the best partnerships. The primary focus will be bringing on new Enterprise and SMB partnerships across own food delivery and New Verticals (retail, grocery, liquor and convenience) that fit our partnership criteria.

    What You'll Do

    • Leverage prospecting skills and relationships to build partnerships with clients
    • Clearly communicate the value of Uber Direct and prospects
    • Partner with our Operations and Account Management team to smoothly activate the best merchants
    • Develop long-term relationships with partners
    • Act as an ambassador of Uber Directs' mission, brand, and product
    • Proactively maintain communication channels with prospects via email, phone, and face-to-face meetings

    Basic Qualifications

    • Hunter mindset: You'll find creative solutions to engage with your partners and will be driven and motivated by commercial challenges.
    • Highly autonomous & proactive: Able to work with minimal oversight, and move forward from issues management to push growth initiatives and projects. You are able to take initiatives and easily adapt to a constantly changing work environment.
    • Passion: You love Uber. You are driven by being at the forefront of a highly visible, fast-growing brand.
    • Presentation Skills: Exceptional speaking, reading comprehension and writing skills.
    • Team player. You'll contribute to a synergistic work environment where people learn from one another.
