    Sales and Marketing Manager (JB3583)

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Relevant post-matric qualification in sales and marketing.
    • An additional qualification as a Fitter/Millwright/Electrician Artisan will be considered an added advantage.
    • Minimum of three years of experience in the technical training environment (Non-negotiable).
    • Familiarity with SETAs, NAMB, and QCTO administrative requirements.
    • Outgoing personality.
    • Willingness and ability to work outside of normal working hours.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Marketing:

    • Create awareness about the brand in the KZN branch.
    • Establish and maintain a network of clients and other related stakeholders.
    • Promote the company's services in the market.
    • Collect relevant market intelligence and design a value proposition to clients.
    • Increase the client base while retaining existing clients.
    • Attend relevant industry events and stay up-to-date with developments in the industry.
    • Expand service offerings beyond current trades and programs.
    • Ensure feedback sessions are conducted with clients.

    Sales:

    • Convert leads into sales.
    • Ensure budgeted sales targets are met and, if possible, exceeded.
    • Ensure sales are achieved profitably.
    • Align enrolment with available resources.
    • Manage the training process efficiently and effectively.

    Additional Duties:

    • Create and maintain a database of companies capable of hosting learners for mandatory on-the-job training.
    • Ensure that host companies comply with SETA and other relevant requirements for hosting learners.
    • Assist companies, where necessary, in meeting the requirements to qualify as approved workplaces.
    • Ensure that learners achieve at least 80% of the prescribed training.
    • Conduct visits to host companies to facilitate feedback sessions and implement improvements as needed.
    • Assume overall responsibility for the management of the branch.
