    Sales and Marketing specialist

    GAPdesign is looking for a self managed and focused individual that will be responsible for new business development through marketing and sales. Someone who can assist the company in creating new business leads, converting them as well as retain existing customers in line with best practices and market demand.

    Work environment

    We are a small Woodstock based-team, not scared of dipping our toes in unchartered waters and like to think of ourselves as having an inquisitive character that cares about education and environment-related issues.

    This role will include:

    Marketing (Inbound/digital):

    • Identify potential customers (must be comfortable with brand/customer archetypes)
    • Help to detail and implement an achievable marketing plan for services offered
    • Create, automate and optimise sales funnels
    • Research trends, data, demographics, pricing strategies, and other information that can potentially improve marketing and sales performance
    • Undertake continuous analysis of the competitive environment and consumer trends
    • A big must have: You will have to be very comfortable with Online Marketing – Social media platforms, website management, content creation and management, email marketing.
    • Contribute information, ideas, and research to develop, direct and coordinate marketing and sales for our specific service offerings
    • Experience in sales and marketing in the media industry is non-negotiable for this position.

    Sales:

    • Responsible for sales of a selection of offerings
    • Responsible for executing of all proposals
    • Seek new, quality, convertible leads
    • Optimise and track sales data/pipelines
    • Driving/administration of the pipelines
    • Achieve monthly sales target
    • Create and present monthly sales reports
    • Attend networking events and positively represent the brand

    Customer relations:

    • Identify and activate the full client journey
    • You will play a crucial part in customer relationship building and maintenance
    • Travel to meet clients if needed
    • Answer questions from potential clients about offered services
    • Check-in with frequent clients on a regular basis/client liaison

    In-house responsibilities:

    • Adhere to company policies and procedures
    • Work closely with the owner and in-house team
    • Assist in educating the rest of the team in best marketing practices
