    Sales Consultant - Digital Products: Midrand

    Principal Accountabilities:

    • Sales Target Achievement - Consistently achieve or surpass sales targets for OUPSA digital products and services.
    • Customer Relationship Management - Develop and sustain robust relationships with educational institutions, including schools, colleges, universities, and other learning organisations.
    • Product and digital pedagogy - Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of digital platforms and digital pedagogies.
    • Market Research and Analysis - Stay well-informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
    • Collaboration with Internal Teams - Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including marketing, product development, customer support, and operations.
    • Sales Reporting and Forecasting- Maintain precise sales records and provide regular reports and forecasts to management
    • Continuous Learning and Professional Development - Keep abreast of advancements in digital technologies, educational trends, and sales techniques.

    Requirements

    • 2-3 years working experience in Digital sales
    • National Diploma in, Sales, Marketing, ICT in Education or Digital
    • Demonstrate facilitation skills to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
    • Deep understanding of the use of technology in an educational instructional environment as it relates to educational infrastructures, such as platforms and curricula.
    • Resolve customer issues with robust problem-solving skills and exceptional territory management.
    • Experience selling digital or subscription-based products is preferred.
    • Microsoft software skills: Outlook and Power Point (basic), Word and Excel (intermediate).
    • Manage customer relationships using CRM databases, with a strong preference for Salesforce experience.
    • Exhibits high level organisational and communication skills
    • Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients and team members.
    • Work independently and collaboratively to achieve targets and identify new market opportunities.
    • Prioritise opportunities effectively to meet and exceed sales targets.
    • Demonstrate commercial acumen in all sales activities.
    • Driver’s licence and own car
    • Willingness to travel
