    Solutions Architect (Senior)

    Key Purpose

    • To ensure Vitality Asia (VA) and Amplify Health (AH) unlock maximum value from Discovery (DSY), and Vitality UK (VUK) technology assets and innovation. The role bridges the technical and business context across geographies, ensuring that intellectual property, platforms, features, and future developments are transferred, adopted, and co-developed in a way that is structured, value-additive, and strategically aligned with AIA/AH objectives. This relates to both health insurance systems as well as Vitality wellness systems, with the primary emphasis being on health insurance systems.

    Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to:

    Technology Transfer & Governance

    • Manage targeted, structured transfer of code, services, and assets from DSY/VUK to AH.
    • Maintain authoritative documentation covering functional scope, NFRs, design, architecture, code status, and alignment with AIA standards.
    • Ensure remediation backlogs are tracked and closed, with accountability clearly allocated.

    Innovation Scouting & Sharing

    • Actively monitor new features, R&D, and platform developments in VUK and DSY.
    • Provide early visibility to AH, evaluate applicability for Asian markets, and guide prioritization discussions.
    • Curate an Innovation Radar for AH leadership: upcoming platform releases, pilots, and opportunities for early adoption.

    Joint Development & Collaboration Facilitation

    • Lead the technical framing, design, and planning of joint development initiatives between AH and DSY/VUK.
    • Define architectural blueprints, integration designs, delivery models, and cost/pricing estimates.
    • Coordinate multi-party technical teams across VA, AH,  VUK and DSY to deliver agreed outcomes, ensuring clarity of ownership and accountability.

    Platform Evangelism & Adoption

    • Champion the Vitality Technical Platform (VTP) for health assets: ensure AH/AIA fully understand its architecture, design principles, development methodologies, and benefits.
    • Promote adoption of VTP as the foundation for wellness and health solutions in Asia.
    • Translate the platform’s value into tangible business benefits for AH and AIA markets (faster delivery, lower cost, reusability, consistency).

    Contextual Awareness & Industry Insight

    • Maintain a deep understanding of the UK health insurance and healthtech landscape and how UK adoption of the Vitality technical platform is progressing.
    • Advise AH on how UK deployments and lessons learned can be leveraged to de-risk and accelerate Asia implementations.
    • Ensure that AH’s priorities are reflected upstream in appropriate roadmaps.

    Education and Experience

    Essential Experience:

    • Deep understanding of cloud SaaS architectures and insurance/health-tech domains.
    • Hands-on technical credibility (Java, Kafka, AWS) combined with executive presence and negotiation skills.
    • Demonstrable expertise in the use of appropriate tools/technologies for the design, development, build, testing & deployment of a wide range of applications.
    • Health insurance systems experience.

    Desirable Experience:

    • Experience of multiple architecture framework.
    • Experience in both Waterfall and Agile Delivery models and working within the teams.
    • Experience of multiple cloud technologies.

    Team Leader Clinics

    Job Purpose

    • To lead, guide and coach a multidisciplinary team of Nurse and administrators to excellence in service, quality and delivery through the Discovery Service Standards.

    Principle Accountabilities

    • Ensure that business objectives are achieved and maintained (TWT, MBR, DPMO)
    • Responsible for managing performance of permanent staff and contract staff through external providers
    • Relationship building with internal and external stakeholders to achieve objectives
    • Drive results and solutions through the team
    • Manage and resolve internal and external queries and escalations
    • Ensuring the area’s compliance in line with ISO 9001-2008 standard and maintain all standard operating procedures

    Business Consultant

    Key Purpose

    • This role is required to build strong relationships and proactively drive ongoing engagements with key broker partners, create and implement sales strategies to achieve new business sales targets and ultimately drive the sales of all products in the Corporate and Employee Benefits business

    Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to

    • Proactively build personal relationships with the key contacts at the brokers in your broker panel
    • Segmenting your broker panel into different tiers and prioritizing them accordingly
    • Proactively involve the other senior/executive members of the growth team to build relationships at different levels at the brokers in your broker panel
    • Develop and on an ongoing basis, execute the sales and growth strategy for the brokers in your broker panel
    • Identify strategies and tactics to achieve your sales targets through broker partnerships
    • Proactively create, manage and drive a pipeline of deals across all CEB products with the brokers in your broker panel
    • Take proactive steps to put the Discovery brand and our employee benefits value proposition as top of mind in the broker distribution network
