    Sales Manager Commercial Vehicles (ECR) - Midrand

    What you can expect
    The successful incumbent will be overall responsible for refinish paint sales in the commercial vehicle
    (CV) sector in Southern Africa. Duties will include the following:

    •    Provide strategic direction, leadership and development to the CV Sales and Technical Team
    •    Provide leadership and support towards the inland passenger car (PC) Sales and Technical Team
    •    Define and implement a strategy to grow the CV refinish paint sales in Southern Africa according to the company’s vision
    •    Ensuring that the agreed CV targets concerning market share, cost of sales, sales turnover as well as variable gross margins/results are being achieved
    •    Effectively manage the sales and technical team in terms of customer segmentation, weekly customer visit and visit reports
    •    Ensure that the sales and technical team are aware of and trained on new products and technologies to promote paint sales
    •    Ensure on-going market intelligence
    •    Manage customer communication and relationship activities
    •    Measure and report acquisition against targets on a monthly basis
    •    Measure and report actual sales versus budget on a monthly basis
    •    Customer quotations and contractual agreements
    •    Plan and manage sales budget and resources
    •    Manage and drive to improve debtors by working closely with credit control

    What we expect

    •    A Completed Commercial Tertiary qualification, i.e. BEng, BCom
    •    Minimum 10 years commercial, financial, sales management experience, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry
    •    Willingness and ability to travel extensively locally
    •    Solid management and leadership skills
    •    Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen
    •    Advanced computer literacy and communications skills (presentation, verbal and written)
    •    Self motivated and an effective relationship builder
    •    Managing resources effectively and prioritizing work schedule
