Sales Manager - Macsteel City - Elandsfontein at Macsteel

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum Grade 12
• NQF Level 6 Diploma / advance certificate in Business or Sales Management
• Minimum of five years management experience in a Sales Environment
• Advanced Computer Literate levels in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and SAP
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of all products
• Knowledge of all relevant sales and in-house systems
• Knowledge of the industry
• Understanding and working knowledge of relevant legislation
• Proven problem solving, people management, communication and conflict handling skills

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop a sustainable and successful Sales team through effective and efficient management and support
• Build, support and maintain a healthy, diverse internal relationship to achievement of goals
• Implement remedial action where required
• Monitor and manage Internal Sales ensuring targets are met, customer satisfaction is monitored and maintained and queries are resolved timeously
• Manage and track quotations and sales orders
• Monitor the sales quotation process according to the best price and company standards
• Assist with the expediting process
• Proactively drive sales reports to expedite work in progress and deliveries
• Maintain sales targets
• Ensure costings are accurate and in compliance with company policies and procedures
• Provide inputs to business strategy and growth
• Monitor the tender, costing and quotation process
• Provide support to the Internal Sales Team
