Sales Representative - Diabetes - Fixed Term - East London,
As a Sales Representative in Diabetes at Novo Nordisk, your key responsibilities will be to build and maintain strong relationships with health care professionals in the Diabetes field. A strong performer is needed to achieve sales targets and growth in the allocated territory, by promoting Novo Nordisk products to healthcare professionals. This will require that you execute sales strategies effectively, efficiently and ethically and participate as a member of a high performing team. The role will further require that you build consultative relationships with clinicians, pharmacists, nurses and other pharmaceutical and related stakeholders.
Qualifications
You hold a University Degree/Diploma or equivalent in Medicine / Pharmacy / Biology or related Science or Paramedical qualification. You have an excellent written and verbal communication skills and good command of English and Xhosa; and good computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point). Moreover, you have:
2 - 3 years of experience as a Sales Representative in the pharmaceutical industry. It will be a plus, to have previous experience in diabetes
Valid driving Licence
You are able to demonstrate an ability and passion to influence from patient centred approach and have strong attention to quality and details
You have good planning and organisational skills and the agility and willingness to quickly adjust to new situations in a continuously developing environment
You have the ability to engage people with different backgrounds (Science, business, etc.) and work within a diverse environment.
You have good decision making, problem-solving skills, presentation and interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate
