Scientific Service Technician (Balancers/centrifuges) at SciTech Placements

Responsibilities:

• Install new or utilized balancers and centrifuges
• Perform maintenance on balancers and centrifuges
• Complete necessary repairs and reconditioning of equipment
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting when needed
• Follow safety policies and industry standard safety protocols
• Prepare maintenance and installation reports
• Continuously learn and improve existing skills sets

Requirements:

• Technical certification in related machinery and electrical systems
• A minimum of 3 years of installation and maintenance experience in balancers and/or centrifuges
• Strong knowledge and experience with industrial safety standards
• Ability to work independently in field locations
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
• Self-starter and able to work under pressure
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting
