• To be considered for a role in Cytogenetics at Ampath, you must hold either a BSc Honours degree with HPCSA registration as a Medical Scientist in Genetics/Human Genetics or Molecular Biology, a Bachelor's degree of Health Science with HPCSA registration as a MLS in Cytogenetics or a National Diploma in Biomedical Technology with HPCSA registration as a Medical Technologist in Cytogenetics. These qualifications ensure you are equipped to uphold the standards of scientific integrity and innovation that define Ampath’s reputation.
• You bring two years of experience working in a Cytogenetics laboratory environment, where you have honed your technical capabilities and developed a deep understanding of diagnostic workflows. Your experience enables you to contribute meaningfully from day one.
