Minimum Requirements    

• Grade 12/Standard 10 (Essential/Minimum)
• 2-3 years of relevant experience within Stores or Purchasing environment (Essential/Minimum)
• Psychometric Assessment (Essential/Minimum) (To be conducted by Exxaro)
• Certificate of Fitness (Essential/Minimum) (To be conducted by Exxaro)
• Proficiency in managing and optimizing supplier master files
• Proven experience in ensuring compliance with Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) requirements
• Demonstrable capability in document control, including validation and verification of supporting documentation
• Strong understanding of governance, standards, and legal compliance in line with company policies
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a team-oriented environment
• Strong communication and liaison capabilities with suppliers and customers to ensure data accuracy and integrity

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Maintain and update the supplier master file to ensure accurate information is reflected in the system.
• Optimise the vendor master data, ensuring integrity and compliance with Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) requirements.
• Manage and vet supplier documentation to ensure validity, accuracy, and proper safekeeping within current systems.
• Ensure all vendor information and reporting comply with accounting principles and company governance policies.
• Identify and resolve inconsistencies and duplications in vendor master data, taking necessary corrective actions.
• Collaborate with procurement personnel to support and verify BEE documentation requirements.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers and customers to uphold data accuracy and integrity.
• Adhere to functional policies and procedures, contributing to process improvements and functional excellence initiatives.
• Maintain a healthy work environment by complying with all applicable Safety Health and Environmental (SHE) policies.
• Participate in information management technology implementation for supporting Supply Chain Management vendor management.
