Scrum Master - Fully Remote

Our dynamic, UK based partner who has completely taken over the market and changed the recruitment game with the platform - is seeking the skills of a Scrum Master to join their growing team.

Working from anywhere in South Africa, the ideal fit for this role would be someone who has experience delivering visibility and the businesses vision with the software team.

What your day will look like:

• Driving the software development process

• Walking side-by-side and guiding the team while monitoring the outcomes and advising where adjustments are needed

• When needed, you will fill in where Business Analysis and Project Management is needed

• Be responsible for the agile process with your experience to bring a positive overall team culture and environment of ongoing improvement

• Manage sprints, scrum meetings and oversee Jira maintenance

• Report back to the business on releases

• Ensure the teams are free of distractions and on track to reach their outputs while maintaining productivity

• Support the Business Analysts where they may need assistance, by ensuring they have everything in place to keep the business flow running smoothly for developments

• Be an integral part of ensuring complex customer related issues are managed, sometimes this will require you to work with the development team, and even outside of the development team to handle any related issues

• Ensuring scrum best practises, values and rules are followed through at all times.

• Your role will be an important part of supporting the team's development and drive a positive and healthy culture

Must-haves, to be successful in this role:

• Solid Scrum Master experience from a commercial capacity

• Jira and Confluence expertise (Atlassian suite)

• Confident

• Strong communicator

• Passionate about achieving targets and metrics

Highly desirable background/ knowledge:

• Recruitment industry experience

• Data analysis

• Data modelling

• Visualisation

• Modern Software Development technique knowledge
