Senior Actuary

A focus client is searching for a Senior Actuary to help drive IFRS17 implementation.

Education:

• Bachelors / Honours Degree in Actuarial Science is essential
• FASSA is advantageous

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years' within long term insurance
• Minimum of 2 years' supervising or driving a team to achieve results
• Prophet experience is essential
• IFRS 17 model building experience

Role purpose:

• Drive compliance with IFRS 17
• Provide actuarial technical support
• Develop models to calculate IFRS 17 results
• Coach / Mentor junior analysts
• Use statistical models to analyse data and calculate actuarial metrics
