My client is a boutique renewable energy advisor that operate through 8 office around the world. They have undergone c. 130 transaction resulting in more than 6GW of renewable energy capacity, covering clients from financial institutions, utilities and independent industrials on M&A, venture or growth capital as well as debt transaction. They are looking to add a Senior Analyst to join the team in Cape Town, reporting directly into the Managing Director for Southern Africa.

This role will allow the successful candidates responsibilities to include active input into the company's advisory mandates and strategy implementation in Southern Africa region, whilst also maintaining interaction and cooperation with international and regional stakeholders as well as market and industry groups. You will have exposure to lead mandates which may be M&A, Project Finance or Strategic Advisory missions.

Requirements;

• Masters degree from a leading academic institute

• Over 2 years professional experience Private Equity/Investment Banking/Asset Management (financial analysis, financial valuation, data analysis, finance modelling)

• African infrastructure/energy transaction exposure

• Experience dealing with complex project finance structure involving short, mid, and long-term financing instrument

• Extensive African network public and private

• Fluent in English (additional language skills would be a plus)
