• Market leader in the financial services industry - Automotive value-added products (VAP) are looking to appoint an astute Senior BI Specialist to join their team. Be part of a leading winning organisation with unrivalled scale and scope in South Africa, and a selected international presence.
• In this newly created role be, they are looking for a BI Specialist with a sound understanding of financial processes and reporting requirements, combined with a passion for data solutions and a fundamental desire to deliver accurate, optimised and time efficient BI solutions aimed at improving business success.
• Responsibilities include analysing business requirements, advising  and developing optimised BI solutions and visualise results utilising technologies from the MS BI stack. Identify opportunities for improvement of business support processes, driven by data and data flows as well as guiding business and technical users through the full solution development life cycle. 
• MS BI certification essential including 2 + years’ work experience in data warehouse design; 5+ years’ experience in data analysis / mining; 3+ years’ experience in BI report writing using SSRS and other BI reporting and dashboard development tools, 2 years+ experience in designing and developing MS SSAS tabular models, 3 years’ experience in Power BI solutions as well as advanced Excel skills and advanced SQL skills essential. Financial services industry experience very pref as person will be working closing on finance related projects.
• Degree in IT, DAX Script, C# intermediate experience, building SSAS tabular models as well as MS SQL DBA – all preferable.
