Overview

• The principle purpose of this position is to capture accounting documentation, bank reconciliation, customer and creditor statements in compliance with policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Allocate payments
• Check statements for correctness
• Forward statements
• Assist in recons if needed
• Re-allocate sundry customers to correct account
• Follow up on overdues
• Correct any incorrect entries if needed
• Create creditors on M3
• Arrange to create new creditors on Standard Bank
• Do adhoc payments once week
• Validate correctness of invoices
• Trace outstanding supplier invoices & documentation
• Do creditors recon
• Load creditors for month end payments
• Capture of bank statement
• Raise jnls for AP accruals
• Release pre payments
• Do installation report
• Re-allocation of incorrect entries
• AR Report
• Cash and Debt Report

Qualifications

• Matric with Math and/or Accounting.
• Experience as Bookkeeper 10 years or more.
• Universitity Degree
