Senior Creditors Clerk - Stellenbosch at Hungry Lion

THE OPPORTUNITY

We have an opportunity for an experienced Senior Creditors Clerk to join our Finance team. The purpose of this role is to oversee all creditors in the area of responsibility.

DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monthly management of creditors.
• Obtain all invoices from suppliers.
• Capture invoices from suppliers.
• Prepare and maintain monthly recons of suppliers' statements to Age analysis (AP).
• Prepare payments based on monthly recons.
• Adhere to payment deadlines.
• Liaise with suppliers on a regular basis.
• Liaise with Regional Management and Operations.
• Ensure full payment authorisation process is followed
• Assist Supervisor with ad hoc tasks

REQUIREMENTS

Essential:

• Matric.
• 2 years experience working on MS Excel (intermediate-level).
• Accounting knowledge and creditors experience.
• 3 years experience in a similar role

Desirable:

• Sage X3 experience.
• Accounting as a subject in Matric.
• Relevant finance qualification.
• Experience in the creditors process.
