They are a fast-growing IT Services company and are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to help scale their data infrastructure and build world-class data solutions that power the heart of their business

What You'll Do

• As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll be a key contributor to the design, development, and optimization of data pipelines and platforms. You'll work closely with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to ensure data quality, accessibility, and reliability

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines (batch and real-time)
• Develop and optimize data models and data lake/warehouse solutions
• Work with big data technologies (Spark, Kafka, etc.) and cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices
• Mentor junior data engineers and help define best engineering practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions that support business goals

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related fields
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and distributed data systems
• Experience with modern data stack tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
• Deep knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and data lake architectures
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Nice to Have:

• Experience with ML pipelines and MLOps
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)
• Prior experience in [your industry, e.g., fintech, healthtech, e-commerce]
