We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist (with App Development Capabilities).

Responsibilities

• SQL Server
• Writing queries against source data.
• Data profiling.
• ETL processing.
• SSIS/Azure Data Factory
• Building data transformation pipelines.
• Support these pipelines.
• Azure ML and Databricks (advantageous)
• Python (NumPy. SciPy. Scikit-learn.)
• Power BI
• Develop + maintenance of Power BI reports.
• Data preparation: cleaning data sources, data types, date correction
• Merge and duplicating queries
• Deeper understanding of DAX
• Visualization
• PowerApps
• Strong .Net development experience with familiarity with C#, ASP.Net MVC, Entity Framework, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Strong foundational knowledge of Office 365 platform including Exchange, Intune, Azure AD, and Azure ecosystem.
• Prior experience with SOA/web services design and programming; experience with SharePoint, ASP.NET MVC and JavaScript
• Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences.
• Conduct research, gain a deep knowledge of data, in order to develop prototypes and proof of concepts analytics.
• Building relationships with stakeholders to ensure their data business objective can be met.
• Model, ETL, script and visualise data from internal and external.
• Build and maintain pipelines.
• Design and develop analytical and strategic data models and visualization to facilitate data-driven business decisions through analysis and data trends.
• Drive business adoption of Business intelligence
• Promote self-service data analysis throughout the business.
• On-time, efficient and quality delivery outputs
• Ensure as-built documentation is done according to standards and is continuously updated to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience with PowerBI, ETL, Azure Pipelines, SQL server, SSIS
• Degree/Diploma in Technology will be beneficial.
• Good communication skills
• Should be able take the lead and run with projects.
• Project Management Qualities.
