    Senior Diesel Mechanic - Rustenburg

    Purpose of the Job

    • To ensure that preventative and reactive maintenance repairs are carried out on all Engen bulk delivery vehicles, in accordance with manufacturer's specifications and policies and procedures within acceptable time frames and within the approved budget and that strict compliance to HSEQ policies and procedures are adhered to

    What you’ll have done before:

    • NQF Level 5 (Higher Certificate in Diesel Mechanics).
    • Qualified Diesel Mechanic - Trade.
    • 3 years post trade test experience in Diesel Mechanics.
    • Experience in fuel industry with specific experience in bulk tanker fleets.
    • Experience in fuel tanker operations and ancillary equipment on tankers.
    • Exciting Challenges you might face in the role:
    • Interpret and champion the execution of Engen's policies and provisions of the Codes of Conduct & Business Ethics (COBE), Protection of Personal Information (POPI) and Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC) and undertake appropriate mitigation and/or intervention programmes to safeguard business operations, high staff discipline and industrial harmony.

    What you’ll be doing:

    • Ensure that workshop procedures are followed at all times.
    • Ensure daily administrative reporting is done and submitted accordingly.
    • Interact with customers and service providers and ensure deliverables are met.
    • Foster and sustain effective working relationships with all stakeholders.
    • Drive the development of competent working team.
    • Enforce the implementation of applicable Engen procedures and guidelines and affect the compliance to statutory and legislative requirements.
    •  Engen's Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ) policies and Zero Tolerance (ZeTo) rules.
