Senior Digital Product Designer - Cape Town at Tangent International

What you’ll be doing 

• Discovery and research: Lead the exploration of user needs and market insights, translating findings into actionable design strategies and data-backed decisions for user-centric products.
• UX and Prototyping: You will champion the continuous creation, testing, and refinement of UX prototypes to deliver design solutions that adapt to the evolving needs of our clients and their customers.
• Brand UI application: Your creative acumen will be put to use as you skilfully infuse our clients' brands into innovative UI designs, setting them apart from competitors
• Mentorship and Career Development: You'll play a crucial role in nurturing the professional growth of designers within our team, offering mentorship and support to help them advance in their careers.
• Client Engagement and Workshops: You'll have the ability to plan and conduct engaging workshops that educate and inspire our clients about the importance of future-ready design.
• Design Systems Mastery: Showcase your expertise by meticulously crafting comprehensive design systems that document our design rationale and adhere to our values of sustainability and purpose.

What we are looking for

• We’re searching for a Senior Digital Product Designer with a minimum of 3+ years of commercial experience to join the Tangent design team. Whether you've honed your skills in-house or at an agency, what genuinely matters to us is your track record of successfully launching digital products and websites for well-known brands while playing a prominent role in the team.
