Senior Entries Clerk
- Job Type Full Time
- Qualification Matric
- Experience 5 years
- Location Western Cape
- City Cape Town
- Job Field Logistics , Procurement / Store-keeping / Supply Chain
Qualifications & Experience
- Matric
- Customs Affairs Course or equivalent
- Forwarding course or equivalent would be an advantage
- 5 years Industry related experience
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare draft Bill of Entry on Compu-Clearing (CCL) and Cargowise
- Receive clearing files/instructions from Business Units/Client
- Verify accuracy on clearing documentation
- Batch import files in preparation for EDI upload
- Facilitate release of Customs Stop/Detain including other third party release
- Liaise with relevant parties to obtain final release
