Job Description
Position Summary:

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Business Analyst to join our finance team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing financial reports, and providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making within the organization.
• The Senior Finance Business Analyst will collaborate with various departments to identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue growth, and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct financial analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting and budgeting processes
• Analyze trends in financial performance and provide insights to management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business performance and improve financial processes
• Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for senior leadership
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategies for improving financial performance
• Lead ad-hoc financial projects as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• CA(SA) / CIMA Qualification
• Insurance or Financial Services experience or finance/financial reporting processes and systems
• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis or business analytics
• Solid understanding of financial principles and best practices
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
• Experience in mapping out complex business processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
