    Senior Financial Manager (CA(SA))

    Key Responsibilities

    Financial Reporting & Governance

    • Oversee accurate and timely monthly management reporting
    • Ensure preparation and review of quarterly and annual reporting in line with IFRS
    • Support the preparation and finalisation of Annual Financial Statements
    • Oversee corporate income tax, provisional tax calculations, and related statutory submissions
    • Act as key finance contact during internal and external audits
    • Ensure balance sheet integrity, appropriate provisions, and strong financial controls

    Budgeting, Forecasting & Performance Management

    • Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes
    • Drive financial planning across business units
    • Oversee variance analysis and recommend corrective action
    • Conduct scenario and sensitivity modelling to support strategic decision-making
    • Monitor cash flow to ensure financial stability

    Commercial & Strategic Insight

    • Analyse revenue, margins, expenses, and profitability trends
    • Provide executive-level dashboards and financial presentations
    • Identify financial risks and opportunities
    • Drive cost optimisation and process improvement initiatives
    • Lead special projects and ad hoc financial analysis to support business growth

    Leadership & Team Development

    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals
    • Drive performance management and succession planning
    • Foster a high-performance and collaborative team culture
    • Act as escalation point for finance-related matters
    • Champion continuous improvement and transformation within the finance function

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Partner with operational leaders to understand key business drivers
    • Provide financial insight to support strategic initiatives
    • Build strong relationships across departments to ensure alignment and accountability

    Minimum Requirements

    • CA(SA) qualification (essential)
    • Minimum 8 years’ experience in a commercial finance or business partnering role
    • At least 5 years’ experience leading and managing a team
    • Strong financial reporting and tax exposure
    • Recent experience in preparing and reviewing Annual Financial Statements
    • Advanced MS Excel (including modelling and scenario planning)
    • Experience operating in a high-volume transaction environment
