A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a seasoned Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their Johannesburg team. This is a senior client-facing role offering the opportunity to lead complex geotechnical designs, grow a junior team, and contribute to business development
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering from an accredited university
Postgraduate degree in Geotechnical Engineering essential
Registered Professional Engineer essential
Minimum 10 years' experience in a relevant geotechnical field within the consulting industry essential
Experience working on projects in a multidisciplinary environment
Sound understanding of design engineering codes and technical standards
Strong written skills — reports, proposals, and project deliverables
Good communication and interpersonal skills
