We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Laboratory Analyst : Quality in our Chemistry laboratory Gauteng branch. This position is for you if you have a strong analytical chemistry background, accompanied by sound decision making skills to assess situations, ensure laboratory quality is maintained and delegate some quality matters to ensure business needs and operational requirements are met. Further, the position also requires leadership skills with good interpersonal skills.
Amongst other things you will be responsible for:
The overall supervision of the chemistry laboratory’s quality assurance, ensuring the strict adherence to the standard operational and quality procedures.
What we are looking for:
Ideal candidate must possess a formal qualification with Quality Management or Analytical Chemistry as subject, with at least 3 to 5 years Quality oriented experience.
Experience in an ISO 17025 accredited facility is a definite requirement.
Analytical skills are needed / must be able to assess situations and provide immediate solutions.
Experience in internal, external audits and root-cause analysis is a definite must.
Previous experience in dealing with customer complaints and investigations is also a definite must.
Must be able to effectively plan, and carry out, or delegate tasks
