The Role

As a private developer and property owner, our client enjoys the agility that comes with keeping a 'lean and mean' team. This has already allowed them to develop over 130,000sm of retail space in non-urban areas, as well as various other commercial and industrial buildings. By keeping their leasing in-house, they ensure that only the most viable tenants are placed in the most suitable boxes. They are looking to appoint a seasoned retail leasing professional who enjoys close relationships with all the National tenants, who will work on new and existing buildings, and who will really 'get their hands dirty' to ensure the entire portfolio is well let. In a small team, you need to add value at every stage of development, and have an eye for design, a good understanding of budgeting, and even a flair for property management: there's no such thing as 'that's not my job'. This is a non-corporate but extremely hard-working environment which will suit someone who has a stable career track record and is able to manage all aspects of lease negotiation from start to finish.
