The University of Venda is a South African comprehensive rural-based institution, located in Thohoyandou in Limpopo province. It was established in 1982 under the then Republic of Venda government.
PhD/Doctor in Early Childhood Education/Foundation Phase. At least 5 years' teaching experience at a tertiary institution, or 7 years’ professional experience in the relevant field. Must have 5 publications in accredited, peer reviewed journals as well as leadership qualities. Must have the ability to manage workload and possess efficient administration skills.
LECTURER
Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. A minimum of 3 years teaching experience at tertiary institution or 5 years professional working experience in the relevant field. Ability to use E-learning/online resources/platforms. Publications in peer reviewed and non-peer reviewed journals will serve as an added advantage.
DUTIES
The successful candidate will teach and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Assist the department in developing and improving its curricular. Publishing in accredited journal. Conduct community engagement. To teach using E-learning/online resources/platforms.
