Qualifications

• B Com Accounting; and
• Post graduate degree in Finance

Experience

• Candidates must preferably have 8 to 10 years’ experience in a finance environment;
• Good experience in treasury compliance and financial risk management.

Key Performance Areas

• Implement / monitor compliance and update the local Risk and Treasury Management Policy
• Recommend hedging strategies to CFO for discussions at Exco and Board
• Provide technical and accounting support for complex Treasury transactions
• Ensure regulatory compliance (SARB, etc.)
• Ensure and monitor compliance with loan and facility agreements terms and renegotiate terms and conditions when applicable
• Monitor and manage compliance to loan covenants
• Execute the necessary financial instruments
• Ensure accurate forecasting of cash and working capital requirements
• Detailed cash management and planning
• Ensure efficient management of working capital facilities and programmes (Supply Chain Finance, Receivables Factoring etc.)
• Ensure and monitor compliance with exchange control regulations and treasury policies (local and group)
• Build and maintain good relationships with external parties (funders, service providers etc.)
• Effective reporting (Local, Group and other)
• Manage the service level agreement with the outsourced Treasury front office
• Manage the treasury back office
• Liaise with Group Treasury on all strategic matters and ensure local transactions and procedures complies to Group policies
