• We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) Consultant with mid-level expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in configuring various aspects of SAP MDG and possess 3-5 years of hands-on experience in both support and DEVOPS environments. The SAP MDG Consultant will play a crucial role in implementing, customizing, and maintaining our master data governance solutions to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance across our organization.

What you'll be doing

Responsibilities:

Configuration and Customization:

• Configure and customize SAP MDG solutions to align with business requirements, ensuring effective master data management across the organization.
• Design and implement data models, workflows, and validation rules to maintain data consistency and quality.

MDG Implementation:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements for MDG implementation.
• Lead or participate in end-to-end implementation projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.

Data Governance:

• Define and enforce data governance policies, standards, and processes to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
• Monitor data quality, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to improve overall data health.

Support and Maintenance:

• Provide ongoing support for MDG solutions, troubleshoot issues, and deliver timely resolutions to ensure smooth system operations.
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and enhancements to optimize performance and functionality.

DEVOPS Integration:

• Work closely with DEVOPS teams to integrate SAP MDG solutions into the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Collaborate on automation initiatives to streamline deployment, testing, and monitoring processes.

Documentation and Training:

• Create comprehensive technical documentation, including configuration guides, process flows, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Conduct training sessions and knowledge sharing to empower end-users and fellow team members with MDG best practices.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and management to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience with SAP MDG implementation, configuration, and customization.
• Strong understanding of data governance principles, data quality management, and master data concepts.
• Proficiency in SAP MDG modules (e.g., Material, Customer, Vendor, Financial Objects) and related integration with other SAP modules.
• Experience with DEVOPS practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automated testing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant SAP certifications would be a plus.
